Camp Letter 2020 Association Camp

            Camp has been canceled due to Covid-19

Each summer our Association hosts a week of church camp at Stone Ridge Camp- in Smithville AR
for students ages 9 years through 12th grade. Kids enjoy swimming, recreation, music, Bible study, and a fun time of learning about God together. Students interested in going to camp must register through their church.

Chris Roller was born in Magnolia, AR and spent most of his growing up years farming in Rogers, AR.  He is a graduate of Rogers High School and Central Baptist College.  Chris married Amy in 2003 and they have two daughters, Addy (10) and Olivia (6).  Chris loves camping, fishing, hunting, wake boarding, flying air planes and sports.  Chris has been serving in student ministry since 1999.  He has served in Conway, Searcy, Forrest City, Stuttgart, and is now at First Baptist Rogers.  Chris joined the team at First Baptist Rogers in the summer of 2015 as lead student pastor.  Chris currently leads four staff members and over 70 adult volunteers who pour into over 350 students each week.  Chris is currently serving on the Super Summer Leadership team with the ABSC and helps lead conferences with Jesus Focused Youth Ministry.
Cliff Preston has been traveling across the country for the last 18 years singing songs about the Savior that changed his life.  Growing up as a preacher’s son, Preston began singing in church as an eight year old.  In college, he decided to learn to play the guitar and began writing his own songs.  He signed his first recording contract in 2007.  After living in Nashville, TN, for a season, Cliff recently moved back to Smackover, AR where he now lives with his wife Leslie, daughter Kannyn, and son Murphy.  He has written songs for several Christian artists including Newsong, JJ Weeks, Carrollton, Tadashi and more.
Chris Satterwhite has been married to his wife Amber for 14 years and they have 3 children – Leah, Joshua, and Hannah.  He came to join the church family at First Baptist Mayflower in October 2018.  Chris has served Arkansas churches since 2001 in various ministry roles including pastor, associate pastor, youth pastor, and worship leader.  
Chris graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with his Mdiv and is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University.
